Privacy Policy

This document was last updated July 6, 2026. These terms are subject to revision as our products develop. For questions, contact us at the address below.

1. Introduction

Alpha-Z Technologies ("Alpha-Z," "we," "us," or "our") is a technology company headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria, with regional branches in Ghana and Ivory Coast. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use our websites, products, and services — including GeoAfric and its modules (Enterprise, Logistics, Hospitality, and Reach), Solar Energy Intelligence, SolarTrack, and Alpha-Z Devices.

This policy was last updated on July 6, 2026.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account data — name, email address, phone number, and password when you register.
  • Location data — real-time and historical GPS location, used to power family tracking, fleet management, and safety features.
  • Health data — personal health monitoring data you or a connected device choose to share, used for wellness and SOS alert features.
  • Device data — device model, operating system, unique identifiers, and mobile network information.
  • Usage analytics — how you interact with our apps and dashboards, including feature usage and session activity.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the service;
  • Improve existing features and develop new ones;
  • Send alerts, notifications, and safety-related communications;
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions;
  • Comply with applicable law, regulation, and legal process.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in limited circumstances, and only with service providers bound by strict data-processing agreements — including Supabase (database and backend infrastructure), Google Maps (mapping and geolocation services), and payment processors (billing).

Alpha-Z Secure operates as a separate legal entity from Alpha-Z Technologies with its own data handling practices. Information collected through Alpha-Z Secure's security and forensic services is governed by its own agreements and is not commingled with GeoAfric or other Alpha-Z Technologies product data except where you have explicitly consented.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting privacy@alphaztechnologies.com. We will process deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal retention requirements.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your personal data. Residents of Nigeria and Ghana have specific rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) and the Ghana Data Protection Act, respectively, including the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.

7. Location and Health Data

Location and health data are central to GeoAfric's core features — family tracking, personal health monitoring, SOS alerts, and community safety intelligence — and we treat this data with additional care.

  • Explicit consent is required before we collect or share location or health data.
  • Where a GeoAfric account tracks or is tracked by family members, each family member must individually consent to having their location or health data shared, regardless of who administers the family account.
  • You may withdraw consent at any time through your account settings, which will stop future collection of this data.

8. Children

GeoAfric is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 without verified parental or guardian consent. Where a child under 13 is added to a family plan, the consenting parent or guardian is responsible for managing that child's data and privacy settings.

9. Security

We protect personal data using industry-standard safeguards, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, Supabase Row Level Security (RLS) policies to enforce data access boundaries, and role-based access controls limiting internal access to personal data on a need-to-know basis.
